Enrollment
Accepting new enrollments at Group 3 Los Angeles.
Each pilot trainee is required to fill out the new pilot information form and present the following at enrollment:
- Unexpired Photo ID (Government issued i.e. Passport or ID/Driver License)
- Copy of FAA 1st, 2nd or 3rd Class Airmen's medical certificate
Each pilot trainee must also meet TSA requirements:

- U.S. Citizens - Provide original proof (i.e. Birth Certificate or U.S. Passport)
- Non-U.S. Citizens - holding permanent resident status - Provide TSA receipt of fingerprints and permission to train notification at Group 3.
- Non-U.S. Citizens - without permanent residency -Provide TSA receipt of fingerprints and permission to train notification at Group 3 as a non-resident trainee.

Group 3 Aviation, Inc. requires that all students meet the following for approval:
- 1. Each student demonstrates an acceptable knowledge of the English Language and, if necessary, pass a pre-application standardization test. All students must read, speak, write, and understand English.
- 2. Each student provides at least height and weight details and obtains an FAA Airman Medical Examination, through an FAA Aviation Medical Examiner.
- 3. Foreign students must complete all TSA background and M-1 Visa requirements. or they may not begin the course.
Height and Weight Requirements:

- Pilots must not exceed a weight of 250 lbs / 17.4 stone / 108 kilos
- Pilots must not exceed a height of 76 in / 1.93 meters
Pilot Height & Weight Requirements are per aircraft model - the per seat limitations are quite clear. If a pilot's weight exceeds 250 lbs, the flight school has to consider additional factors such as gear, fuel, and the limitations placed on flight time and distance an aircraft will be able to travel.
