Group 3 aircraft maintenance is performed by qualified maintenance providers who have the highest levels of FAA certification. Mechanics have attended manufacturer authorized factory maintenance courses. Aircraft are kept on detailed maintenance schedules. If any unscheduled maintenance conditions arise, aircraft are immediately withdrawn from service until repairs are performed. Safety begins with good maintenance.

Group 3 pilots and operational staff are trained to track aircraft operational status. No aircraft can be dispatched prior to checking airworthiness status. Additionally, all aircraft operations are performed according to manufacturer performance and limitations. Dispatch checks also include flight planning and comprehensive weather checks.

The safety of Group 3 passengers and crew are of principal importance. Passengers will receive a safety brief prior to boarding. Aircraft are equipped with safety equipment including safety belts, fire extinguishers, first aid and survival kit, and headsets. Additionally, remote operations carry a satellite phone and locator beacon, and life vests for over water operations.

Group 3 only employs disciplined professional pilots. All pilots are employees of the company and are required to comply with company and FAA safety sensitive regulations. Pilots undergo annual company recurrency training.

Operational staff is trained in scheduling and flight dispatch duties. They support flight operations and ensure operational control is maintained at all times from the base of operations.

Group 3 policies require that all pilots and mechanics that perform safety-sensitive duties complete pre-hire and employment random drug and alcohol screening. Group 3 has zero tolerance to drug and alcohol misuse and manages its preventative program for the safety of all.
